Ode to the Libra Full Moon, Sharath Chandra,

Ode to the Libra Full Moon

(The Moon of Balance and Blossoms)

O magnificent silver orb of Libra’s reign,
Thou risest calm through October’s vein,
Where autumn breathes its violet hue,
And cherry blossoms dream anew.
Thy light descends through fragrant air,
To crown the night in beauty rare.

Beneath thy gaze, the petals fall,
Soft whispers of the cosmic call.
Each bloom a sigh of fleeting grace,
A mirrored soul, a lover’s face.
O moon of balance, fair and wide,
Thy light and shade walk side by side.

Thou art the heart of heaven’s scales,
Where truth abides and peace prevails.
Thy silver arms hold worlds in tune,
Thy silence sings the yogi’s rune.
Through thee the restless stars confess,
Their yearning for the soul’s caress.

The purple flowers bow to thee,
In gentle vow of purity.
Their scent ascends, a sacred hymn,
To where thy glow makes darkness dim.
O Libra Moon, of grace divine,
Thy beams through every heart entwine.

For lovers merge beneath thy gleam,
And yogis wake within their dream.
Thou art the bridge of soul and breath,
The pause that conquers time and death.
O Sharath Chandra, calm and high,
Thy peace enfolds both earth and sky.
